Advice

The Committee noted that there was a total of 84 letters sent out with no responses supporting and four responses opposing the proposal. The objections were due to loss of parking in the area and residents believing that the extension of No Stopping is not required for access to the off-street parking.

The Committee unanimously recommended the provision of bicycle parking instead of the extending the No Stopping restriction as this will assist with maintaining access to the driveway.

The TfSNW representative requested a plan of the proposed bicycle parking.

Background

A resident of Selwyn Street, Paddington has requested consideration of "No Stopping" in Iris Street to improve access to their property.
