Decision
The Committee carried the recommendation unanimously.
Background
As part of the new arrangements for CBD and South East Light Rail (CSELR) project, Transport for NSW is proposing a “No Stopping” restriction on the northern side of Nobbs Lane, Surry Hills between Olivia Lane and Parkham Place.
The construction of the Light Rail project has required a
20cm reduction in the width of Nobbs Lane. The implementation of the “No
Stopping” restriction is required to maintain vehicle access after the width of
the lane is reduced.
