Recommendation
It is recommended that the Committee endorse following changes in Parkham Lane, Surry Hills:
(A) A one-way westbound restriction, with an exemption for bicycles, from Parkham Place to a point 106 metres west of Parkham Place, and
(B) Provision of a one-way westbound access road through community parkland, linking Parkham Lane to Bourke Street.

The Committee carried the recommendation unanimously.
Background
As part of the CBD and South East Light Rail (CSELR) project,
Transport for NSW propose to install an access road through community parkland,
which will extend Parkham Lane from Olivia Lane to Bourke Street. The changes
include a proposal to restrict Parkham Lane to one-way westbound vehicle
movements only.
