It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking on the southern side of Tewkesbury Avenue, Darlinghurst, west of Darlinghurst Road as:

(A)      “1P 8am-12 Midnight Permit Holders Excepted Area 17” between the points 16.8 metres and 34.1 metres (three car spaces) and between the points 36.1 metres and 45.4 metres (two car spaces); and

(B)      “No Stopping” with yellow linemarking between the points 34.1 metres and 36.1 metres (one parking space).

Background

Condition 12 for the approved redevelopment of 249 Darlinghurst Road (D/2016/1617) requires the applicant to make a submission to change on-street parking.

The applicant has made a submission to change parking in Tewkesbury Avenue in order to provide access to a new ramp and reinstate permit parking following the removal of a redundant driveway.
