Decision
The Committee
carried the recommendation unanimously.
Background
To facilitate renovation works within the Traffic Management Centre (TMC) building, the Urban Growth NSW Development Corporation, who controls the Australian Technology Park (ATP) site, temporarily relocated Police Parking from the southern side of Central Avenue, Eveleigh to northern side of Central Avenue, west of Garden Street. Central Avenue, Eveleigh is a privately controlled road in the Australian Technology Park.
Following the completion of the renovation works, the TMC is
now proposing to return the police parking to the southern side of Central
Avenue, west of Garden Street and introduce a section of “P5 Minutes” along the
site’s frontage to service their pick-up and drop-off needs.
