Decision
The
Committee noted that in regards to
Item 47 Parking-Ticket Parking and Car Share – Greens Road, Paddington the Minutes of the 13 December 2019 incorrectly reflected a
unanimous decision instead of majority support.
City
staff clarified that the 2P/4P parking restrictions were unanimously endorsed
by the Committee members, however, the Member for Sydney did not support the
addition of ticket parking at this location. Given that RMS and Police have
supported the ticket parking, the City will proceed with the endorsed proposal.
Additionally,
City staff provided an addendum to this item:

The endorsed
2P/4P parking restrictions will proceed without ticket machines at present.

The ticket
machines will not be operational until Council reviews its fees and charges for
2019/20.
The Chairperson
has requested that the endorsed restrictions be subject to a review six month
after the installation of the ticket machines
