Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Elizabeth Street, Sydney between the points 71.3 metres and 124.3 metres (nine car spaces) north of Liverpool Street as “Bus Lane 6am-8pm Mon-Fri 10am-6pm Sat, Sun & Public Holidays” and “Taxi Zone Other Times”.

Background

On-site inspections conducted by City staff show that the parking spaces with ticket parking restrictions on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are underutilised and can be reallocated to improve kerbside use.
