The Committee carried the recommendation unanimously.

Background

Sydney Metro is Australia’s biggest public transport project. At completion, the project will deliver 31 metro stations and more than 65 kilometres of new standalone metro rail.

To facilitate delivery of the new Pitt Street Station in the Sydney CBD, two existing Australia Post boxes along the eastern kerb of Pitt Street, south of Bathurst Street, will need to be relocated to the western kerb of Pitt Street, just north of Wilmot Street.
