Recommendation
It is recommended that the Committee endorse the
installation of:
(A) Footpath widening on the north-east and north-west corners of the intersection of Lang Road and Driver Avenue, Moore Park.
(B) Shared path on the northern side of Lang Road between the points 0.0 metres and 18.5 metres west of Driver Avenue.
(C) Shared path on the northern side of Lang Road between the points 0.0 metres and 8.5 metres east of Driver Avenue.
(D) Shared path on the western side of Driver Avenue between the points 0.0 metres and 15.5 metres north of Lang Road.
(E) Shared path on the eastern side of Driver Avenue between the points 0.0 metres and 30 metres north of Lang Road.
It is recommended that the Committee note the installation of:
(F) A signalised crossing in Lang Road at the western leg of the signalised intersection with Driver Avenue.
(G) Two aspect bicycle lanterns on the northern, eastern and western legs of the signalised intersection of Lang Road and Driver Avenue.

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation.
Background
The signalised intersection of Lang Road and Driver Avenue,
Moore Park is a key location for people accessing Centennial Parklands and the
Moore Park sporting and entertainment precinct. The City is proposing improve
safety, access and amenity at the intersection for people walking and
riding.
