Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking in Zetland as follows:

(A)      On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 0 metres and 16.1 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "No Stopping";

(B)      On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 16.1 metres and 22.7 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "2P 8am-10pm";

(C)      On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 22.7 metres and 25.5 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "No Stopping";

(D)      On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 25.5 metres and 32.1 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "2P 8am-10pm";

(E)      On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 32.1 metres and 35 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "No Stopping";

(F)       On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 35 metres and 41.5 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "2P 8am-10pm";

(G)      On the southern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 41.5 metres and 96 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "No Stopping";

(H)      On the northern side of Rose Valley Way, between the points 0 metres and 100.1 metres west of George Julius Avenue as "No Stopping";

(I)        A 1.7 metre wide central median island on George Julius Avenue, between the points 17 metres and 71.2 metres north of Rose Valley Way;

(J)       On the western side of George Julius Avenue, between the points 0 metres and 26.5 metres north of Rose Valley Way as "No Stopping";

(K)      On the western side of George Julius Avenue, between the points 26.5 metres and 69.1 metres north of Rose Valley Way as "2P 8am-10pm";

(L)       On the western side of George Julius Avenue, between the points 69.1 metres and 95.1 metres north of Rose Valley Way as "No Stopping"; and

(M)      On the eastern side of George Julius Avenue, between Rose Valley Way and 95.1 metres north of Rose Valley Way as "No Stopping".

Background

The Development Consent for 94-104 Epsom Road, Zetland (D/2019/976) requires the Applicant to deliver part of a new road known as "Rose Valley Way" between Fuse Street and George Julius Avenue and part of a new road known as "George Julius Avenue" within the site boundary.

The delivery of the new road sections will address Condition 43 for 94-104 Epsom Road, Zetland. Condition 36 requires the Applicant to submit a signage plan for kerbside parking and line marking arrangements to be referred to the Local, Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee, as part of the dedication of the new sections of "Rose Valley Way" and "George Julius Avenue" as public roads.
