Advice

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation.

Background

The Green Square Masterplan includes the requirement to provide a connection from the southern end of Portman Lane and Green Square.

The Development Consent for 77-93 Portman Street, Zetland (D/2018/517) requires the Applicant to deliver a new laneway, extending the southern end of Portman Lane (currently a dead-end) to provide a connection through to Portman Street. At the completion of the works, the new laneway will be dedicated to the City.
