Advice

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation.

Background

A resident of Mentmore Avenue, Rosebery has requested a disability parking space in Queen Street. The resident has advised they are not in a wheelchair but cannot physically walk far.  While the adjacent building has off-street parking, the resident has advised that they do not have access to the car park. Given the difficulty with access for people with mobility impairments, it is proposed to provide a disability parking space on Queen Street to improve general access to the area for people with disabilities.
