Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the temporary road closure of Bridge Street, Erskineville, between Swanson Street and Ashmore Street, (three lanes), from midnight on Thursday 17 March 2022 to midnight Monday 21 March 2022, 24 hours continuous, subject to the following conditions:

(A)      The Applicant must comply with the temporary road closure conditions as mentioned in Schedule B of this agenda.

(B)      The Applicant must comply with any other conditions imposed by City’s Construction Regulation Unit.

(C)      The Applicant must comply with any other conditions imposed by the City's Greening & Leisure Unit.

(D)      The temporary road closure is subject to the approval of the Construction Traffic Management Plan by TfNSW.

(E)      The Applicant has indicated the 22 March 2022 as a contingency date.

(F)       The Applicant must contact the South Sydney PAC  to discuss deployment of user pay police for the road closure.

(G)      The Applicant must obtain written endorsement from the Principal and  P & C at Erskineville Public School the regarding the temporary road closure.

(H)      The Applicant must provide a telephone number of the supervisor responsible for the proposed closure and include contact details in the notification letters to be distributed to affected stakeholders.
