Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the western side of Nickson Street, Surry Hills as follows:

·                between the points 6.5 metres and 10 metres north of Wilshire Street as "No Stopping" and;

·                between 10 metres and 17.6 metres (two car spaces) north of Wilshire Street as "Loading Zone 7am-4pm Mon-Fri" and "2P 4pm-10pm Mon-Fri Authorised Residents Vehicles Excepted Area 18".

TfNSW requested ranger enforcement of illegal parking in No Stopping zones and across driveways.

Background

The business owner of 33 Nickson Street, Surry Hills has requested consideration of reinstating the previously existing Loading Zone along the frontage of their property.
