Decision details

It is resolved that Council:

(A)      approve the concept design for the Rosebery Quietway as shown in Attachment B to the subject report for proceeding to detailed documentation and construction tender;

(B)      note the estimated project costs as detailed in Confidential Attachment D to the subject report;

(C)      acknowledge the concerns of some members of the community about the proposed Quietway and note that City staff will continue to engage with the community during design development; and

(D)      the Chief Executive Officer be requested to make arrangements to examine the safety of existing traffic arrangements at Mentmore Avenue and Morley Avenue.

The motion, as varied by consent, was carried unanimously.
