Advice
The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation.
Background
The City has received requests to improve safety for
pedestrians crossing at the intersection of Crewe Place and Rosebery Avenue.
Therefore, it is proposed to install a raised pedestrian crossing in Rosebery
Avenue and a continuous footpath treatment across Crewe Place to enhance
pedestrian priority, facilitating safer pedestrian links at the Crewe Place and
Rosebery Avenue intersection and reduce vehicle speeds.
