It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the western side of Layton Street between the points 10 metres and 22 metres (2 car spaces) east of Purkis Street as: 1P 10am-10pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area G.

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation and noted that City provided the following update on the consultation undertaken for the reallocation of parking in Layton Street Camperdown:

The City consulted local residents and businesses in the area.  There were 65 letters sent out with no responses received either supporting or objecting the proposal.

Background

In July 2021, NSW Health has requested consideration of No Parking NSW Health Vehicles Excepted in Layton Street, Camperdown to assist NSW Health to manage patients who were isolating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
