Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the installation of the following changes in Rosebery:

(A)      The allocation of kerbside restrictions as "2P 8am-8pm" as follows:

·                On the western side of Rothschild Avenue between the points 31.4 metres and 77.7 metres (eight car spaces) north of Cressy Street; and

·                On the eastern side of Mentmore Avenue between the points 33.7 metres and 119.8 metres (14 car spaces) north of Cressy Street.

(B)      Installation of Shared Path on the northern side of site boundary (12-22 Rothchild Avenue, Rosebery) between the points 35.2 metres and 75.6 metres west of Rothschild Avenue.

Background

The Development Consent for 12-22 Rothschild Avenue, Rosebery (D/2020/549) requires the Applicant to provide traffic calming measures and submit a signage plan for kerbside parking and line marking arrangements that is to be referred to the Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee for consideration and endorsement.

The Applicant is also required to extend the existing Shared Path on the northern side of the site boundary. At the completion of the works, the extension of Shared Path will be dedicated to the City.
