Advice
The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation and noted the amendment to the Consultation as follows: There was 84 letters sent out with one response supporting and one response opposing the proposal due to the loss of parking.
Background
A resident of Raglan Street, Waterloo has requested
consideration of "No Parking" and "No Stopping"
restrictions in Surrey Street. Parked
cars in Surrey Street reduce the travel lane width to only 2.3 metres which
impacts the ability of vehicles to safely travel through the street to access
residential driveways.
