Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking:

(A)      On the western side of Leichhardt Street, Darlinghurst between the points 11 metres and 28 metres (three car spaces) south of Barcom Avenue as "No Parking St Vincent’s Hospital (NEPT) Patient Transport Vehicles Excepted"; and

(B)      On the northern side of Barcom Avenue, Darlinghurst between the points 0 metres and 7.5 metres (one car space), 47 metres and 58 metres (two car spaces) and 63 metres and 73 metres (two car spaces) west of Ice Street as "No Parking St Vincent’s Hospital (NEPT) Patient Transport Vehicles Excepted"; and

(C)      On the northern side of Barcom Avenue, Darlinghurst between the points 12 metres and 29 metres (three car spaces) west of Ice Street as "No Parking Authorised Fire and Rescue NSW Vehicles Excepted".

Background

Sy Vincent's Hospital have requested consideration to reallocate parking in Leichhardt Street and Barcom Avenue to accommodate the hospital's authorised Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) vehicles and authorised Fire and Rescue NSW vehicles.
