It is recommended that the Committee endorse the introduction of the following traffic treatments at the locations around Dadley Street, Alexandria:

(A)       Raised Pedestrian Crossing across Renwick Street, just east of Dadley Street; and

(B)      Footpath Widening and Kerb Blisters on Lyne Street at the intersections with Dadley Street and Allen Lane.

Background

The Alexandria Pedestrian Cycling and Traffic Calming (PCTC) Plan adopted by Council in 2023 includes a proposal to install a Raised Pedestrian Crossings in Renwick Street and footpath widening in Lyne Street at Dadley Street.
