Background
Business on Oxford Street, Paddington have requested a review of the parking restrictions on the southern side of Oxford Street, between Oatley and Greens Roads, ie outside Victoria Barracks, to improve parking availability, particularly in the evenings and on weekends for visitors/customers to the area.
The City has reviewed parking operations on the southern side of Oxford Street and identified the need to update restrictions to better service the needs of the community and align with existing ticket parking restrictions on the northern side of the street.
Oxford Street is under the authority of Roads & Maritime
Services (RMS) and RMS has confirmed that they had no objection to the proposed
parking changes.
