Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking in Glebe:

(A)      On the western side of Purves Street, between the points 18.3 metres and 22.3 metres (one car space), south of Reuss Street as “No Parking”; and

(B)      On the southern side of Reuss Street, between the points 11.2 metres and 16.2 metres (one car space), east of Purves Street as “1P 8am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area G”.

Background

Condition 9 for the approved redevelopment of 3 and 5 Reuss Street and 93 St Johns Road (D/2017/1547) requires the applicant to make a submission to change on-street parking.

The applicant has made a submission to remove parking in Purves Street in order to provide vehicular access to a new driveway and reinstate permit parking in Reuss Street following the removal of a redundant driveway.
