Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking in Sydney, north of Martin Place as:

(A)      “No Stopping” on the western side of Macquarie Street, between the points 0 metres and 27.5 metres (four parking spaces);

(B)      “No Parking 8.30am-9pm Wedding and Funeral Vehicles Excepted” on the western side of Macquarie Street, between the points 27.5 metres and 43.9 metres (three car spaces);

(C)      “Loading Zone 6am-6pm Mon-Fri 6am-10am Sat” and “4P Ticket 6pm-Midnight Mon-Fri 10am-10pm Sat 8am-10pm Sun & Public Holidays” on the eastern side of Phillip Street, between the points 7.8 metres and 28.8 metres (four car spaces); and

(D)      “No Stopping” on the eastern side of Phillip Street, between the points 28.8 metres and 45.9 metres (three car spaces).

Background

Condition 20 for the approved redevelopment of 60 Martin Place (D/2015/509) requires the applicant to make a submission to change on-street parking.
