Background

The City's contractor has applied for the temporary road closure of Hansard Street, between Joynton Avenue and Portman Street, Zetland, from 7.30am to 5.30pm on Friday 30th of August 2019 to Thursday 30th of August 2019 (Inclusive).

A previous approval was granted for the temporary road closure however, during construction works, the contractor faced unforeseen clashes with existing utilities causing the need for design changes. As a result, the temporary road closure in Hansard Street near Joynton Avenue will require an extension until 28 February 2020.
