It is recommended that the Committee note the following upgrades to the signalised intersection (TCS 0411) of Parramatta Road and Derwent Street, Glebe:

(A)      Install a signalised pedestrian crossing in Derwent Street at Parramatta Road;

(B)      Remove the central median island in Derwent Street at Parramatta Road;

(C)      Widen the footpath on the southern side of Arundel Street and western side of Derwent Street; and

(D)      Install "No Left Turn Vehicles Under 9m Excepted" restriction from Parramatta Road (eastbound) into Derwent Street (northbound).
