Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the northern side of Reservoir Street, Surry Hills, west of Beauchamp Lane, as follows:

(A)      Between the points 0.8 metres and 10 metres (two car spaces) as "No Stopping" and

(B)      Between the points 10 metres and 15.3 metres (one car space) as "2P Ticket 8am-10pm Mon-Sat, Permit Holders Excepted Area 18".

Background

A resident of Mary Street, Surry Hills has requested consideration of extending the "No Stopping" restriction in Reservoir Street at the approach to Beauchamp Lane, to improve sight distance and access into and out of the laneway.
