Advice

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation.

Background

The Development Consent for 18-20 O'Dea Avenue, Waterloo (2014/1837) requires footpath improvements on the northern side of O'Dea Avenue along the site frontage. In June 2018, the Committee endorsed a proposal for wider footpaths along the site frontage.

The City of Sydney Cycling Strategy and Action Plan identifies O'Dea Avenue as part of the City's Regional Bike Network and O'Dea Avenue a Tier 1 route on the NSW State Governments Principle Bike Network. Therefore it is proposed to include a Shared Path along the site's frontage as part of the development works for the site.
