Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the temporary road closures of the following:

·                Victoria Street, Newtown between Rose and Stephen Streets, from 7am to 3pm on Monday 1 June 2020; and

·                Stephen Street, Newtown between Victoria and King Streets, from 9pm to 5am on Wednesday 3 June 2020 and Thursday 4 June 2020.

subject to the following conditions:

(A)      The Applicant must comply with the temporary road closure conditions as mentioned in Schedule B of this agenda.

(B)      The Applicant must comply with any other conditions imposed by City’s Construction Regulation Unit.

(A)      The Applicant has indicated 2, 4 and 5 June 2020 as contingency dates.

(B)      The Applicant must contact the Inner West PAC to discuss deployment of user pay police for the road closures.

(C)      The Applicant is to obtain a Road Occupancy Licence from the Transport Management Centre prior to commencement of works.

(D)      The Applicant must provide a telephone number of the supervisor responsible for the proposed closures and include contact details in the notification letters to be distributed to affected stakeholders.

Stephen Street, Newtown between Victoria and King Streets from 9pm to 5am on Wednesday 3 June and Thursday 4 June 2020.
