It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the western side of Elizabeth Street, Waterloo between the points 45.2 metres and 114.8 metres (12 car spaces) south of Allen Street, as "No Stopping 7.30am-9am, 4pm-6pm Mon-Fri" and "2P 9am-4pm Mon-Fri".

Background

The Development Consents for 713-717 Elizabeth Street, Waterloo (D/2014/1300/A) and 707-711 Elizabeth Street, Waterloo (D/2016/135/A) requires the Applicants to submit proposed parking changes for consideration.

The construction of the two sites have required the temporary relocation of bus stops to minimise the impact on construction on regular bus services. As construction is nearing completion, parking on the western side of Elizabeth Street needs to be updated to reflect the new land use and to return the bus stops to the proper locations.
