Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following kerb side parking changes in Hinchcliffe Street, Zetland south of Geddes Avenue:

(A)      On the western side, between the points 0 metres and 13.2 metres as a yellow "No Stopping" line;

(B)      On the western side, between the points 13.2 metres and 27 metres (two car spaces) as, "2P Ticket 8am-10pm";

(C)      On the western side, between the points 27 metres and 33.8 metres as a yellow "No Stopping" line;

(D)      On the western side, between the points 33.8 metres and 55.4 metres (four car spaces) as, "2P Ticket 8am-10pm";

(E)      On the eastern side, between the points 0 metres and 30.6 metres as a yellow "No Stopping" line; and

(F)       On the eastern side, between the points 30.6 metres and 55.5 metres (four car spaces) as, "2P Ticket 8am-10pm".

Background

The Development Consent for 511 Botany Road, Zetland (D/2013/1947) requires the Applicant to submit traffic and parking plans for the extension of Hinchcliffe Street, Zetland to be referred to the Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee for consideration and endorsement.

At the completion of works, the new section of Hinchcliffe Street will be dedicated to the City as a public road.
