Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking on the western side of Macquarie Street, Sydney, north of Albert Street as:

(A)      "P Motorbike Parking Only 6am-6pm Mon-Fri" and "4P Ticket 6-10pm Mon-Fri 8am-10pm Sat-Sun & Public Holidays" between the points 29.2 metres and 42.6 metres (two car spaces);

(B)      "4P Disability Parking Only" between the points 42.6 metres and 58.2 metres (two car spaces); and

(C)      "P5 Minute" between the points 58.2 metres and 76.2 metres (three car spaces).

Background

Condition 40 for the approved redevelopment of 71-79 Macquarie Street (D/2014/301) requires the applicant to make a submission to the Committee to change parking in Macquarie Street, Sydney.
