Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking as follows:

(A)        On the eastern side of Golden Grove Street, between the points 33.4m and 52.8m (three car spaces) north of Abercrombie Street as, "1/4P 8am-9:30am, 2:30pm–4pm School Days";

(B)        On the eastern side of Golden Grove Street, between the points 58.3m and 77.3m (three car spaces), north of Abercrombie Street as, " No Parking 8am-4pm School Days, Buses Excepted 15-minute limit";

(C)        On the eastern side of Abercrombie Street, between the points 52.8m and 66.1m (two car spaces), east of Golden Grove Street as, "No Stopping"; and

(D)        On the eastern side of Abercrombie Street, between the points 66.1m and 82.6 (two car spaces), east of Golden Grove Street as, "P Disability 8am-6pm Mon-Fri School Days".

The Development Consent for the Darlington Public School, Darlington (SSD9914) requires the Applicant to submit a signage plan for kerbside parking arrangements along the site’s frontage in Golden Grove and Abercrombie Streets, to be referred to the Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee.
