Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Pitt Street, Haymarket north of Campbell Street:

(A)      Between the points 51 metres and 55 metres as "Loading Zone Ticket 6am-3pm Mon-Fri 6am-10am Sat", "No Stopping 3-8pm Mon-Fri" and "4P Ticket 8pm-Midnight Mon-Fri 10am-10pm Sat 8am-10pm Sun & Public Holidays"; and

(B)      Between the points 55 metres and 70 metres as "No Parking 6am-3pm 8pm-Midnight Mon-Fri 6am-Midnight Sat-Sun & Public Holidays" and "No Stopping 3-8pm Mon-Fri".

Background

Hotel Morris, a new hotel located at 412 Pitt Street, Haymarket has requested consideration of "No Parking" restrictions in Pitt Street in front of the hotel to improve on-street parking access for cars, mini-buses, taxis and ride share vehicles for pick up and drop off hotel guests.
