Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following traffic treatments and parking changes in Sydney:

(A)      Footpath widening on the eastern side of Loftus Street, between the points 0 metre and 14.5 metres, north of Bent Street;

(B)      Footpath widening on the northern side of Bent Street, between the points 0 metre and 14 metres and between the points 38 metres and 58 metres, east of Loftus Street; and

(C)      Reallocation of parking on the northern side of Bent Street, between the points 14 metres and 38 metres, east of Loftus Street as "P 5 minute".

Background

Conditions 5 and 10 of the approved redevelopment of Farrer Place (D/2016/1641) requires the applicant to make a submission to the Committee to introduce parking changes and traffic treatments.

The applicant proposes to widen the footpath in Loftus and Bent Streets and change parking in Bent Street.
