Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on Tosh Lane, Zetland as follows:

(A)       On the southern side of Tosh Lane, between the points 7 metres and 13 metres (one car space) west of Paul Street, as “2P 8am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area 35”;

(B)       on the southern side of Tosh Lane, between the points 48 metres and 89 metres (7 car spaces) west of Paul Street, as “2P 8am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area 35”;

(C)       on the eastern side of Emanuel Lane, between the points 10 metres and 28 metres (three car spaces) north of Hansard Street, as “2P 8am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area 35”.

Background

Residents have requested a review of parking restrictions in Portman Street, Hansard Street, Merton Street, Tosh Lane, Christies Lane and Portman Lane to clarify and reduce restrictions on parking controls. The requests include clarifying restrictions and signage in laneways.
