It is resolved that Council:
(A)
provide in-principle approval to name the new
park to be constructed on the site at the corner of Rosebery Avenue and Crewe
Place as “Allsorts Park" and that the name be placed on public exhibition
for community comment for a minimum period of 28 days;
(B)
provide in-principle approval to name the new
green link to be constructed between Rosebery Avenue, Spring Street and
Confectioners Way as “Honeykiss Park”
and that the name be placed on public exhibition for community comment for a
minimum period of 28 days; and
(C)
note that a further report will be submitted to
Council on the results of the public consultation process.
