Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking on the eastern side of Mitchell Road, Alexandria, as "2P 8am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area 36" between the following points north of Maddox Street:

(A)      51 metres and 132 metres (sixteen car spaces),

(B)      139.2 metres and 199 metres (twelve car spaces), and

(C)      206.8 metres and 212.8 metres (one car spaces).

Background

Residents of Mitchell Road, Alexandria have provided a petition, signed by 27 households, requesting consideration of timed permit parking in line with surrounding parking restrictions, to increase turnover and improve resident access to on-street parking.
