Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking in Alexandria as follows:

(A)      On the eastern side of Ralph Street, between the points 10 metres and 26.8 metres (three car space) north of Shirley Street, as "2P 8am-8pm";

(B)      On the northern side of Shirley Street, east of Ralph Street, between the points 6.5 metres and 10 metres, as "No Stopping";

(C)      On the northern side of Shirley Street, east of Ralph Street, between the points 10 metres and 37.4 metres, as "2P 8am-8pm"; and

(D)      On the northern side of Shirley Street, east of Ralph Street, between the points 37.4 metres and 41.1 metres, as "No Stopping".

Background

The Development Consent condition requires the Developer of 19 Ralph Street, Alexandria to submit a signage plan for kerbside parking along the site's frontage to be referred to the Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee for consideration and endorsement.
