Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the northern side of Hansard Street, Zetland between the points 10 metres and 15 metres (one car space) west of Joynton Avenue as "No Parking Authorised Car Share Vehicles Excepted Zone GG" until 31 January 2022 or prior for the completion of road works on the Portman Street Upgrade Project.

Background

The City is committed to providing dedicated parking for car sharing across the Local Government Area as part of a Council approved Car Share Policy.

The City is scheduled to undertake extensive road works on Portman Street, Zetland which requires the closure of the street. As part of these works the existing car share space in Portman Street is to be temporarily relocated to a nearby parking space on Hansard Street.
