Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking on the eastern side of Codrington Street, Darlington between the following points south of Wilson Lane:

(A)      Between 7 metres and 10 metres as "No Stopping", and

(B)      Between 10 metres and 25 metres (three car spaces) as "2P 8am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area 32".

Background

A resident on Codrington Street, Darlington has requested consideration of permit parking in the street to help residents find parking near their homes, provide turnover of parking for visitors, and to discourage commuter parking.
