It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Derwent Street, Glebe, between the points 10.6m metres and 34.2 metres (four car spaces), south of St Johns Road as "P 10 Minute 7-9am 4-6pm Mon-Fri", "2P Ticket 9am-4pm Mon-Fri 8am-6pm Sat" and "4P Ticket 6-10pm Mon-Sat 8am-10pm Sun & Public Holidays Permit Holders Excepted Area G".

Background

Condition 16 for the approved redevelopment of 132 St Johns Road (D/2017/963), requires the applicant to make a submission to the Committee to change on-street parking restrictions.

The applicant proposes to introduce short term parking in Derwent Street to provide pick-up and set-down parking for the new childcare centre.
