Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the southern side of Forbes Place, Newtown between the points 9 metres and 17 metres (one car space) west of Forbes Street as "No Stopping".

Background

A resident of Forbes Place, Newtown has raised concerns that the parking space next to their driveway is too short for cars to park without obstructing their driveway. It is therefore proposed to provide a “No Stopping” restriction to the east of the driveway to ensure unobstructed access to their property.
