Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking as follows:

(A)        On the eastern side of Marriott Street, Redfern between points 6 metres and 25 metres (three car spaces) south of Boronia Street as "2P 8am-6pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area 41” and

(B)        On the western side of Marriott Street, Redfern between the points 10 metres and 32 metres (four car spaces) south of Boronia Street as "2P 8am-6pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area 41”.

Background

In response to residents' request for a greater turnover of parking in the area, the City has proposed "2P 8am-6pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area 41” in Marriott Street, Redfern.
