Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking on the eastern side of Bourke Street, Redfern between the points 5.5 metres and 10 metres (one car space) north of Thurlow Street as "No Stopping".

Background

A resident of Redfern has requested the City extend the existing "No Stopping" restriction in Bourke Street north of the intersection with Thurlow Street to improve safety and drivers' sightline when turning into the intersection.
