Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking on the northern side of Campbell Street, Haymarket, east of George Street:

(A)      Between the points 11.3 metres and 17.3 metres (one car space) as "No Stopping, Australia Post Vehicles Excepted 3 Minute Limit"; and

(B)      Between the points 17.3 metres and 23.3 metres (one car space) as "Taxi Zone".

Background

Australia Post has requested the consideration of parking in Campbell Street, Haymarket to service nearby mailboxes on Campbell Street. The proposed location currently has no legal stopping locations for Australia Post vehicles to service their mailbox.
