Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following changes in Union Street and Vescey Street, Waterloo:

(A)      Western side of Union Street, between the points 10 metres and 71 metres (10 car spaces), north of Raglan Street as " 2P 8am-8pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area 41"

(B)      Southern side of Vescey Street between the points 16.7 metres and 29 metres, east of Union Street as "2P 8am-8pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area 41"

(C)      Southern side of Vescey Street between the points 29 metres and 37 metres, east of Union Street as " No Parking"

Background

Residents of Union Street and Phillip Street, Redfern have requested consideration of "2P 8am-8pm Mon-Fri Permit Holders Excepted Area 41" parking restrictions to meet the increasing parking demands and match with the parking restrictions in the nearby streets.
