Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the western side of Pitt Street, Haymarket between the points 20.8 metres and 45.8 metres (four car spaces) south of Campbell Street as "Loading Zone Ticket 6am-6pm Mon-Fri 6-10am Sat" and "No Parking All Other Times".

Background

The City is considering introducing "No Parking" outside of existing Loading Zone hours on Pitt Street to improve turnover and allow vehicles to pick up and drop off passengers without entering Campbell Street. Currently there are limited numbers of pick up and drop off locations for vehicles in Campbell Street.
