Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking on the western side of Little Young Street, Redfern between the points 12.6 metres and 20.2 metres (one car space) north of Cooper Street as "No Parking 6am-6pm Wed Only" and "1P 8am-10pm Mon, Tue, Thu-Sat, Permit Holders Excepted Area 41".

Background

Residents of Little Young Street, Redfern has requested consideration of "No Parking" on a waste collection day to improve access and safety for cleansing vehicles in the laneway. It is also proposed to install permit parking on other days to encourage vehicle turnover and freeing up spaces for residents in the area.
