Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking in Millers Point:

(A)      On the southern side of Watson Road, between 21.1 metres and 113.9 metres (16 car spaces) from Argyle Street as "P10min 8-9am 2.30-3.30pm Mon-Fri", "2P Ticket 9am-2:30pm 3:30pm-6pm Mon - Fri 8am-6pm Sat Sun & Public Holidays" and "4P Ticket 6pm-10pm";

(B)      On the eastern side of Upper Fort Street between 165.5 metres and 249.1 metres (14 car spaces) from Argyle Street as "P10min 8-9am 2.30-3.30pm Mon-Fri", "2P Ticket 9am-2:30pm 3:30pm-6pm Mon - Fri 8am-6pm Sat Sun & Public Holidays" and "4P Ticket 6pm-10pm"; and

(C)      On the eastern side of Upper Fort Street between 311.5 metres and 331.3 metres (3 car spaces) from Argyle Street as "No Stopping".

Background

School Infrastructure NSW, as part of the State Significant Development for the Fort Street Public School, is proposing parking changes in Watson Road and Upper Fort Street to improve on-street parking access for parents and carers to pick up and drop off students.
